New Updates to County Risk Levels: Effective May 7 - May 13

All 15 Counties Improve Just Enough to Shift from Extreme Risk to High Risk

The Governor's Risk & Protection Framework provides county-specific guidance at four risk levels based on their level of COVID-19 spread. It’s important to note that there is no zero risk category.

With cases and hospitalizations rising above thresholds, the Governor announced new risk levels for the coming week, with 15 counties moving early into Extreme Risk. The updated risk levels, effective May 7 - May 13, are here & below. Risks levels will be evaluated weekly for the next two weeks, with no waiting week.

  • Extreme Risk: 0

  • High Risk: 24 (Baker, Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Crook, Deschutes, Douglas, Grant, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Malheur, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Umatilla, Wasco, Washington, Yamhill)

  • Moderate Risk: 4 (Coos, Curry, Hood River, Tillamook)

  • Lower Risk: 8 (Gilliam, Harney, Lake, Morrow, Sherman, Union, Wallowa, Wheeler)
