About 97,000 More People Must Get Vaccinated Before We Can Lift Restrictions!

COVID-19 Death Toll: Nationally, more than 595,300 people have died from COVID-19, and 2,700 Oregonians have died and Oregon has now surpassed 203,670 cases. We honor and grieve for those we've lost and those who love and care for them.

Vaccine Progress Report: More than 1,951,646 Oregonians are fully vaccinated, and more than 2,292,591 have at least one dose.

Oregon can fully reopen when we reach 70% of those 18 and older have received at least their first vaccination. Currently:

  • 67.1% of Oregonians 18 and older have have received at least one dose (63.6% of those 16+, and 53.7% of all Oregonians)

  • 55.3% of those 16+ are fully vaccinated (45.7% of all Oregonians)

See vaccination rates by county, race/ethnicity, age, and more.

Vaccine Eligibility: All Oregonians Age 12+ are eligible.

  • You do NOT need to be a U.S. citizen to get the vaccine.

  • Getting the vaccine will NOT affect your immigration status or count as a public charge.

  • You do not need to have or provide a social security number.

  • You do not need to have identification.

  • Insurance is not required. Bring insurance card if you have one.

County Risk Levels: See updated risk levels for June 11-17 here (21 counties at lower risk, 4 at moderate risk, 11 at high risk).

Counties can move to the Lower Risk level when they:

  • reach 65% of ages 16+ having received their first vaccine doses. See progress toward 65% by county here. Currently Jackson, Douglas, and Marion counties, two of those with high Latinx populations, have the largest number of people remaining to vaccinate to achieve 65% and move to lower risk. Lake, Malheur, and Umatilla with the largest gaps to fill, with vaccination rates at just 34-38%.

  • submit a complete plan to OHA for closing vaccine equity gaps. Counties will be eligible for state resources to help achieve these goals, and additional funding as they demonstrate progress toward closing their equity gaps.
