Grants Open for Summer Enrichment & Academic Support

The Legislature approved a funding package (HB5042A) providing $250 million in state funds, combined with $75 million in federal funds, for a total of $325 million available to school districts and community-based organizations to help students and children learn, thrive, and have fun this summer. The deadline for districts to apply has passed, but CBOs still have time to apply!

Awarded on Rolling Basis: K-12 Summer Learning Grants for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)

  • Pool of $40 million administered by the Oregon Community Foundation for K-12 programming offered by CBOs regardless of school district participation.

  • Grants of $15K - $200K; applications accepted, reviewed, and awarded on a rolling basis throughout spring to ensure programs have funds in hand to plan and implement.

Other Related Resources:

We strongly encourage CBOs to offer culturally-responsive programming for Latinx and other students of color. Let's use these resources to help our students maintain well-being and academic success!
