$900 Billion Federal Relief Package

The $900 billion package was finally signed, and includes:

  • $120 billion for the temporary $300 per week supplemental jobless benefit (the Oregon Employment Department reports these payments are already starting to be paid, more here.)

  • $166 billion for direct stimulus payment of $600 for most Americans, including mixed status immigrant households (see the IRS "Get My Payment” Tracker for the status of your payment)

  • $25 billion in funding for rental assistance and 1-month extension of the CDC eviction moratorium (Oregon passed a moratorium

  • $300 billion for small business and nonprofit support for paycheck protection, EIDL grants, and more. See specific list of nonprofit provisions by National Council of Nonprofits here.   • $15 billion for cultural institutions, live venues and independent move theaters
