Town Hall: Community Care & Resilience!

Fostering personal and community conciencia, fortalezas and resistencia during challenging times

Wed, April 28, 12-1pm

Join special guest Ruth Zúñiga for a Town Hall focused on community care and resilience.

For individuals who serve Latinx communities, one method of coping with the emotional stress experienced by serving communities who have been historically oppressed is by focusing on building our strength and resiliency. This presentation will discuss resiliency from a Latinx culture perspective. We'll have an interactive conversation focused on personal as well as community resiliency. And together we will engage in a culturally adapted self-care skill focused on stress release, and resiliency building.

*Bonus* We'll kick things off with three Latinx candidates for Salem-Keizer School Board introducing themselves and sharing their stories.

As an act of community care, join us and gain tools you can use and share!
